Corps en Mouvement
Un week-end artistique exceptionnel à la Colline des Arts

From to

Following in the footsteps of the museums in Berlin's Museuminsel and Vienna's MuseumsQuartier, eleven cultural institutions located around the Chaillot hill have joined forces to form the La Colline des Arts network. Unique in France, it offers an exceptional concentration of institutions and serves as a reminder that Paris is one of the world's cultural capitals.

To coincide with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the eleven institutions have come up with a unique programme focusing on the body in motion. Workshops, meetings, shows and demonstrations - a particularly rich artistic programme will be on offer throughout the weekend to celebrate the extraordinary adventure that Paris is preparing to host.

In dance, as in a fashion show, the body is in motion, sublimated by the garment.

As part of the Colline des Arts programme, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris invites you to rediscover the Yves Saint Laurent fashion show of 12 July 1998 at the Stade de France.

Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé imagined a gigantic and sublime fashion show for the Football World Cup final at the Stade de France. To the revisited rhythms of Ravel's "Bolero", three hundred models took to the catwalk to celebrate forty years of the designer's creations, in a choreography skilfully orchestrated by Olivier Massart. Nine hundred people were called on to organise this fifteen-minute event, which will be watched live by 1.7 billion television viewers around the world.
