Open Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (last entry at 5:15 p.m.). Open Friday until 9:00 p.m. (last entry at 8:15 p.m.). Rooms are cleared 20 minutes before museum closing time. Advised visit duration: 1h30.

Closed on Monday and January 1, May 1, and December 25. Early closing at 4:30 p.m. on December 24 and 31.

Accessibility

The museum is accessible for the physically disabled. A wheelchair is available at the front desk of the museum upon reservation. 

Access conditions

Due to the implementation of Vigipirate measures for increased security, all luggage and large bags are forbidden inside the museum. Waiting time can be expected due to security checks at the entrance.

Due to the fragile nature of each item, the pieces are displayed in low lighting and low temperature. The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris thanks visitors for their understanding.

Specific time slots are reserved for special access to the museum. 

Professional tour guides trained by the museum staff will welcome your group in optimum visiting conditions. Delve into the world of Yves Saint Laurent and discover a thousand and one anecdotes about his haute couture house.

Would you prefer to visit the museum with your own tour guide? You may also take advantage of special morning hours for your visit.

Visit the atelier (only in French)

During a special visit to our restoration atelier, you will gain closer access to the treasures held at the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris and discover a legacy that remains unparalleled in the history of haute couture houses.

Once a month, a member of the conservation department will present a few pieces taken out of storage and discuss the museum staff’s efforts to preserve and display the collection, in addition to explaining what makes the collection unique.
