Organized for Brazil’s year-long celebration of France, this exhibition was devoted to Yves Saint Laurent’s “imaginary travels.” The fifty haute couture designs, original sketches, and photographs on display attest to the ways in which Morocco, Spain, India, China, Russia, and Africa influenced the designer.
