A propos de l’exposition

The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris, which opened seven years ago and has since welcomed nearly one million visitors and exhibited more than 2,000 works, is temporarily closing to undergo renovation.

While preserving the existing architecture of the building, which formerly housed the couture house, the project aims to double the surface area accessible to the public while allowing access to iconic spaces—such as Pierre Bergé’s office—and improving the experience of visitors to the museum.

A new Documentation and Research Center will offer a privileged access to the museum’s extraordinary archive.

Entrusted to Selldorf Architects–New York and the architectural firm Studio La Boétie in Paris, the project marks a new milestone in the museum’s history.

During the renovation work, the museum will offer an off-site program of events.
Not to be missed this summer: the exhibition Yves Saint Laurent and Photography, which opens July 7, 2025 at the Rencontres d’Arles.
