With a selection of one hundred haute couture garments, SAINT LAURENT rive gauche clothing and accessories, photographs, drawings, films, and other multimedia elements, the exhibition explored Yves Saint Laurent's recurring themes (tribute to artists, imaginary travels, masculine/feminine, etc.) as well as the designer’s working process.
