This exhibition displayed forty-seven haute couture designs inspired by the thirty-three artists to whom Yves Saint Laurent paid homage in his collections. The list included such artists as Goya, Picasso, Léger, Matisse, and Van Gogh, in addition to examples of African sculpture.
