Across over seventy works of art (paintings, sculptures, photographs, and videos), this exhibition explored the theme of vanitas from the seventeenth century to the present day. Saintly figures and classical allegories by artists from Latin Europe were displayed in relation to contemporary artwork and a series of memento mori from Pierre Bergé’s private collection.
