ANDAM

Established in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour under the initiative of the Ministère de la Culture and the DEFI and presided over by Pierre Bergé until 2017—and now by Guillaume Houzé—, the Association Nationale pour le Développement des Arts de la Mode (ANDAM), focuses on finding young designers and helping them launch their fashion careers in France and abroad.

The Association Nationale pour le Développement des Arts de la Mode (ANDAM) is committed to bringing together and coordinating the various players in the world of fashion at both the institutional level and the private level. Its transversal and strategic initiatives are aimed at supporting young designers and promoting Paris as the indisputable capital of fashion.

Every year, the ANDAM Fashion Award provides financial and logistical support for designers who are chosen during an extensive selection process, thus ensuring the vitality and continuity of the creative industry that fashion represents. In addition to this competition, the ANDAM provides ongoing support to emerging labels and offers advice about both their structure and development, putting them in contact with the various parties involved in the fashion industry (manufacturers, luxury groups, institutions, journalists, and press offices).
