At the conservation atelier of the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris, open to the public every month, one can see the entire process behind creating an haute couture collection.
During these monthly visits, the conservation team opens the archives of the couture house to share with the public preliminary sketches, diagrams showing the organization of runway shows, and a selection of pieces and accessories worn on the runway.
Regarding your visit
Those who have signed up to visit the conservation atelier are asked to arrive at the museum with their reservation fifteen minutes before the start of the visit. Latecomers will not be allowed to join the group.
Visits of the atelier are only available in French.
