First Jumpsuit

Like the safari jacket, the jumpsuit was first shown in the Spring-Summer 1968 collection. Originally a functional garment worn by aviators, its volume concealed the shape of the male body. Yves Saint Laurent, once again

inspired by a menswear garment, designed his jumpsuit to achieve the opposite effect by revealing the curves of the female body. When worn by tall, thin women, the jumpsuit created an elegant silhouette.

My style is androgynous. Since I noticed that men had much more confidence in themselves and in their clothes and that women were not so confident in themselves, I sought to give them confidence and a figure.
